THE BEST WAY to view any city is on foot or by public transport. I can guide you on walking tours which are more in-depth and personal, plus we can visit locations inaccessable to a bus or coach. There is no limit to the topics covered. Tours can be tailor-made to suit your particular interests. Allow two to two-and-a-half hours duration.
THE SQUARE MILE: A tour through the City of London's rich history beginning at the Tower of London and ending at Saint Paul's Cathedral.
Site entrances can be arranged.
THE TWO CITIES: Starting from outside the Tower of London in the City of London. We will take a thirty minute boat ride along London's ancient highway, the River Thames. Ending in the City of Westminster at the Coronation Church of Westminster Abbey.
WESTMINSTER: I will guide you on a tour through the very heart of British government passing the Palace of Westminster and Big Ben, through the Cloister of Westminster Abbey. You would never dream that you are at the centre of this great metropolis as I show you through some truly magnificant back streets.
Allow me to show you an area steeped in history, once at the heart of the greatest empire the world has ever known.
IN 2012 THE OLYMPIC GAMES are returning to London for the THIRD time. This tour will approach the site via one of the “Gateway” routes passing through an area which is experiencing the most dramatic changes since the Second World War. We will end near the almost completed Olympic Stadium.
